Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Residential Outreach Specialist to promote enrollment in the Energy Savings Assistance Program in the San Diego area. The role involves door-to-door canvassing, explaining eligibility, collecting documentation, and supporting installation of basic energy-saving measures.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to travel locally with a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in sales, customer service or outreach preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to promote and enroll participants in the Energy Savings Assistance Program.
• Explain income and eligibility requirements and assist with enrollment paperwork.
• Install basic energy- and water-saving measures where applicable (LEDs, faucet aerators, etc.).
• Maintain accurate participant records and documentation.
• Drive outreach and enrollment goals through community engagement and field visits.
