Job summary

Resource Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Residential Outreach Specialist to support enrollment in the Energy Savings Assistance Program in the San Diego area.

The role involves field-based outreach, income eligibility assessment, and installation of basic energy- and water-saving measures in customers' homes. Responsibilities include door-to-door canvassing, meeting utility customers, and collecting enrollment documentation while maintaining accurate records and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional work experience in sales, customer service, outreach, education or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain active Home Improvement Salesperson registration through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
• Valid California driver's license in good standing and reliable vehicle for regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to eligible households through door-to-door canvassing and referrals.
• Meet with utility customers to explain the Energy Savings Assistance Program and benefits.
• Explain income requirements and eligibility criteria.
• Describe energy-conservation measures and program phases.
