Job summary

Resource Innovations, a women-led energy transformation firm in New Jersey, seeks an Operations Manager to guide energy efficiency programs. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, QA/QC, outreach, and software to deliver large-scale projects and exceed client goals.

You will develop implementation plans, budgets, and forecasts, plus foster trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders. A strong background in energy efficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or related field of study.
• 5+ years of energy-efficiency or DSM related experience.
• Proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets, and plans.
• Ability and experience in short- and long-range planning and strategy.
• Previous contract development and negotiation experience.
• Excellent project and program management skills.
• Proficient in establishing job and work process flows.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines within budget.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in sustainability and meaningful environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Develops program designs including work plans to meet goals and forecasts staffing needs and client forecasts.
• Coordinates delivery of large-budget energy efficiency programs to utility clients per contract and budgets.
• Identifies, defines, tracks, and drives program deliverables for on-time submission.
• Assesses progress and develops solutions to market dynamics.
• Manages cross-functional delivery team and subcontractors.
• Manages client expectations and communications; resolves issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
