H-E-B in Texas is seeking a Corporate Program Manager of Energy to guide a portfolio of energy initiatives across 400+ locations. You will liaise with utilities, REPs, regulators, and ERCOT market policy, shaping resilience and grid strategy while delivering clear briefs to leadership.

This role requires program leadership, budgeting, cross-functional teams, and strong analytics; bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with statewide travel and occasional off-hours support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience in energy, utilities, or industrial operations.
• Experience with ERCOT or energy markets preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to travel statewide and support after-hours events.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage program processes, schedules, and success metrics.
• Represent H-E-B in ERCOT, PUCT, utility, and legislative meetings.
• Prepare materials and briefs for regulatory meetings and leadership.
• Develop and maintain relationships with utilities and regulators.
• Oversee interconnection and resiliency systems deployment.
• Lead design decisions for behind-the-meter generation and microgrids.
• Provide regular status updates and trainings to the energy team.
• Quantify financial impacts of opportunities and regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost and risk.
