Job summary

Vistra Retail Operations Company is seeking a senior product leader to deliver innovative energy offerings. You will own ideation through market launch, using analytical and financial skills to validate viability and drive margin-positive results.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Operations and Finance to design customer-focused programs and manage partnerships, aiming to meet aggressive sales and profitability targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retail-focused product development, offer/channel strategy, marketing or related function.
• 3+ years with financial modeling or customer margin analysis.
• Experience with energy or alternative energy products preferred.
• Proficiency in excel-based modeling; SAS/Tableau beneficial; CRM tools familiarity.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead small cross-functional work groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess commercial viability of offerings using financial metrics (margin, sales, ROI).
• Transform complex energy ideas into simple customer offerings.
• Generate new concepts through ideation methodologies and opportunistic thinking.
• Analyze research insights and trends to propose products, programs or partnerships.
• Lead implementation of new products from ideation to market launch with cross-functional teams.
• Manage product verticals and support optimization to achieve sales goals.
• Cultivate external partner relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and define go-to-market plans.
