Job summary
The Edge Development Group seeks a Director of Commodity Analytics & Pricing in Houston or Dallas, TX. This senior role shapes pricing, procurement, and analytics across power and natural gas for Fortune 200 clients and sophisticated enterprise engagements.
You will lead a team of managers, analysts, and data scientists, partnering with Sales and Operations to craft strategic solutions and present complex market data clearly to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in energy markets, pricing, structuring, risk, procurement, or analytics.
- Strong experience in power and natural gas with PJM knowledge and ERCOT, ISO-NE, NYISO, and MISO familiarity.
- Executive presence with comfort presenting to Fortune 200 clients and senior sales leaders.
Responsibilities
- Pricing and analytics strategy for power and natural gas.
- Join strategic pursuits and executive client meetings, turning market data into procurement and hedging strategies.
- Structure large-load solutions including renewables, VPPAs, behind-the-meter generation, sleeved transactions, and data center opportunities.
- Own supplier relationships and oversee RFPs, bid evaluation, and pricing strategy.
- Lead a team of managers, analysts, and data scientists, and guide the product direction for proprietary procurement and risk platform.
- Own the business direction for a pricing and procurement visualization platform, guiding its evolution and client value.
