Energy Edge Consulting, LLC in Houston seeks a Senior Analyst to join the Operations & Analytics Team. The successful candidate will perform pricing analysis, client reporting, and market modeling to support commercial and industrial energy clients.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, dashboard development, and clear communication with senior management and clients. In-office position in Houston with exposure to ERCOT and other energy markets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related fields (Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.)
• 2–3 years of experience in retail electricity and natural gas markets serving commercial/industrial clients, wholesale markets, consultancy or energy company
• Experience in risk management and/or energy modeling
• High familiarity with retail electricity and natural gas markets (products, contracts)
• Understanding ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO concepts and hedging basics
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Responsabilidades

• Prepare pricing requests for retail electricity and natural gas and secure pricing proposals
• Review and compare supply proposals and prepare client presentations with recommendations
• Provide analytical support to existing and prospective clients
• Perform energy market analyses for client deliverables
• Develop and prepare reports and statistics for client reporting
• Develop dashboards and visualizations for client and internal reporting
• Model electricity and natural gas tariff rates
• Generate client-facing Excel reports
• Evaluate solar, wind, storage, and demand response opportunities for clients
