Job summary

Net Power is seeking an experienced Director, Fuel Supply & Hedging to own natural gas sourcing, delivery, and the hedging program underpinning the Permian-scale pipeline. You will build the fuel supply function from scratch and operate it through construction into commercial operation, partnering with Legal, Finance, and Development teams.

The role is on-site in Houston, TX, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote) and occasional project-site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, economics or related field.
• 10+ years in natural gas supply, origination, trading, or structuring.
• Experience negotiating gas purchase & transportation agreements.
• Willingness to travel (<25%) to meet customers and sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio fuel strategy and site selection support for New Projects.
• Own physical gas supply & transport, negotiate interconnects and firm transports.
• Lead hedging & price risk management, structure and execute hedges for ESAs.
• Manage fuel supply management, compliance, and reporting across the portfolio.
• Forecast gas volume and coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Development and Legal.
