Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline related to civil or energy engineering.
• 8+ years in business development, client development, capture, or consultative sales.
• 5+ years selling environmental/geotechnical/civil engineering to energy sector clients.
• Knowledge of electric utilities, regulatory drivers, procurement, and capital programs.
• Proven ability to create capture plans, client value propositions and win themes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement capture plans for priority energy pursuits.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline with utilities, developers, and cooperatives.
• Analyze market drivers and policy trends for regulated utilities and energy projects.
• Provide actionable insights on client needs, market dynamics, and competition.
• Coordinate proposals, budgets, and resource mobilization for pursuits.
• Ensure prequalification responses are compliant and consistent.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to support cross-selling and relationship building.
• Track pipeline progress, pursuits, and outcomes using CRM tools.
