Econ One Research, Inc. is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst to support our Energy Practice. You will contribute quantitative analysis, data management, and research on electricity and power markets in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

The role requires an advanced degree and 2–3 years of related experience, with proficiency in Python, GAMS, and Excel. A hybrid schedule from the Washington, DC area is preferred, and transcripts may be requested.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Optimization or Engineering.
• 2–3 years of energy consulting or related analytical role.
• Experience with large, messy datasets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research related to electricity and power markets.
• Construct, clean, and manage large datasets using Python and Excel.
• Prepare memoranda, exhibits, and presentations summarizing analyses.
• Assist in expert reports, declarations, and testimony materials.
• Review work for accuracy and completeness.
• Synthesize information from discovery materials and public data sources.
• Work with senior staff on multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
