Job summary

The Planet Group seeks an experienced Energy Manager to optimize energy usage across our operations. You will lead energy audits, develop and implement conservation strategies, and monitor performance with a focus on cost reduction and sustainability.

The role requires strong data analytics, project management, and collaboration with facilities and finance teams. Onsite work schedule, relocation negotiable, and a sign-on bonus may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field).
• 7+ years of relevant energy management experience.
• CEM/CEA or similar credential desirable.
• Strong data analysis with Excel; SQL a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct energy audits (ASHRAE Level 1-3) and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop energy management strategies aligned with goals and regulatory requirements.
• Implement energy efficiency projects and monitor outcomes (M&V).
• Analyze energy usage data and prepare reports on savings and progress toward goals.
• Manage utility billing and data management for numerous accounts.
