Job summary

Willdan Energy Company, part of Willdan Group, Inc., is seeking a Program Manager to design, plan, and execute energy efficiency initiatives in collaboration with leadership in Cambridge, MA. You will lead program implementation, reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

The role emphasizes data analysis, performance tracking, and staff guidance across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable energy savings and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s Degree in environmental science, engineering, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive and relevant experience in energy efficiency.
• Experience leading the implementing of direct installation programs (Heat Pump Water Heaters, Heat Pump and natural gas HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, and food service measures).
• Knowledge and experience implementing deemed and custom energy efficiency measures in the MA or NH market.
• Strong analytical skills to drive decision making and program optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project management software.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency regulations, policies, and standards at the local, state, and federal levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage one or more energy efficiency programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish program goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages innovation, learning, and collaboration.
• Provide guidance and support to program staff, interns, and involved personnel.
• Manage program staff and delegate to subject matter experts.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to energy consumption and program performance.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards communicating outcomes and progress.
