Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Americas Energy Manager to drive energy efficiency for an 18-million-square-foot portfolio spanning offices, labs, and data centers. You will lead CapEx and OpEx energy projects, deploy AI/FDD analytics, and collaborate with site engineers to optimize building performance.

You will co-author quarterly energy reports, manage utility data, and guide conservation initiatives aligned with net-zero goals, while mentoring operations teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Proven energy management or building operations experience in large real estate.
• Experience with energy programs across large portfolios (labs, data centers, offices).
• Strong technical competency in HVAC, central plants, hot water, BAS.
• Ability to calculate energy savings, analyze utility data, and interpret trends.
• Experience managing OpEx budgets and coordinating multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute energy management plans across the Americas portfolio to meet GHG targets.
• Manage Low/No Cost energy savings program and identify opportunities.
• Leverage AI platforms and FDD analytics to automate energy conservation.
• Collaborate with on-site facility teams to implement energy-saving measures.
• Oversee OpEx energy project lifecycle from scoping to execution and verification.
• Review engineering designs for large capital projects to ensure energy efficiency.
• Co-author quarterly energy savings reports and support monthly global energy report.
• Provide technical training to operations teams on sustainable practices.
• Engage with utilities and regulators to leverage rebates and stay ahead of energy trends.
