Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience operating, programming, troubleshooting and maintaining computerized energy management HVAC systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Maryland license preference.
• Valid Class C driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain HVAC energy management systems in County facilities.
• Troubleshoot and modify control systems to improve operation and efficiency.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers on startup and testing.
• Review construction projects to provide technical advice.
• Serve as Standby Coordinator, may require 24-hour availability.
• Prepare work orders and reports; supervise contractor work for code compliance.
