Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the North American electric power sector or strong academic exposure to power systems, transmission, or interconnection topics.
• Demonstrated experience with power system modeling tools (PSCAD, PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, TARA).

Responsibilities

• Support Interconnection Application activities, including preparation of application materials, data validation, and coordination of submissions.
• Track IA milestones, study phases, schedules, data requests, and maintain IA trackers and documentation.
• Perform entry-level technical analyses to support generator and load interconnection and transmission planning studies.
• Support power flow modeling and simulation efforts under guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in preparing client deliverables, including technical memoranda, reports, presentations, and data summaries.
• Coordinate with internal project teams to support IA-related consulting work across multiple client engagements.
• Stay current on interconnection rules, study processes, and regulatory developments across North American power markets.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
