The State of Washington is seeking an Infrastructure Protection Program Manager to lead energy infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, and emergency management coordination across the energy sector. You will work under the Energy Resilience and Emergency Management Office to implement strategic plans and coordinate with federal, state, local, tribal, and private sector partners.

Qualifications

  • Completion of IS235.c Emergency Planning Independent Study Course from the Emergency Management Institute.
  • Minimum 1 year experience supervising professional staff and emergency planning for organizations of 25+ personnel in the last 5 years.
  • Experience working with catastrophic, comprehensive emergency management, infrastructure protection, recovery, hazard mitigation, business continuity, or continuity of operations plans.
  • Ability to facilitate an emergency planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Administers statewide energy infrastructure protection and cybersecurity planning.
  • Coordinate with local, state, federal partners, internal and external committees, and energy sector owners/operators to share information to support energy transition.
  • Administer the state’s energy cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection plan.
  • Conduct outreach and education on energy cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection with statewide stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data handling plans for CEII and energy data.
  • Develop and maintain energy sector exercises and trainings with partners for cybersecurity and physical security.
  • Develop and maintain processes for cross-sector dependency mapping of energy critical infrastructure assets.
