Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid-level or senior associate to join its Energy & Infrastructure team within the Project Finance group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in the energy sector, especially in project finance and M&A deals.

The role involves supporting project finance and M&A transactions, conducting due diligence, reviewing credit agreements and legal opinions, and drafting power purchase and interconnection agreements. JD required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Substantial practice experience before FERC.
• Direct experience in renewable energy (wind, solar, or battery storage).
• Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location.

Responsibilities

• Support project finance and M&A transactions in the energy sector.
• Conduct due diligence and review credit agreements and legal opinions.
• Engage in transactions involving power generation and transmission.
• Draft and negotiate power purchase and interconnection agreements.
