Job summary

Kirkland & Ellis seeks a Marketing & Business Development Senior Coordinator to join the Houston office. You will drive marketing and BD efforts for the Houston office, Texas region, and energy/infrastructure practices, collaborating with attorneys and cross-functional teams to strengthen client relationships and raise brand visibility.

You will coordinate campaigns, manage CRM data, and support content creation and submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 3–4 years in marketing, business development or related role.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, service-oriented approach with client focus.
• Ability to gather, analyze and summarize business information.
• Experience creating and maintaining marketing materials with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and execution of client-facing initiatives (seminars, conferences, sponsorships).
• Help implement and track strategic BD initiatives for the Houston office and energy/infrastructure practices.
• Assist with budget tracking, expense processing, sponsorship management, and reports.
• Coordinate community engagement and industry sponsorship activities to enhance presence.
• Maintain attorney bios, pitch materials, practice descriptions and website content.
• Support submissions for rankings, directories and awards by gathering information and deadlines.
• Maintain CRM data and targeted mailing lists for outreach and campaigns.
• Conduct research on clients, prospects, industries and competitors to support BD.
• Collect, organize and summarize information to support reporting and decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing resources.
