BTIG seeks a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join its Energy & Infrastructure team in Texas (Dallas or Houston). The role supports senior bankers on sell- and buy-side M&A, public and private equity and debt raises, and strategic advisory assignments.

The ideal candidate has a strong financial background, 1–2 years in IB or related fields, and a passion for energy markets across upstream, midstream, and OFS sectors. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or related advisory.
• Familiarity with oil and gas valuation metrics is a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ, Enverus advantageous.
• SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses preferred or ability to obtain after joining.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and analyze complex financial models including DCF, NAV, LBO, accretion/dilution, and comparable company/precedent transaction analyses.
• Assist in the day-to-day execution of M&A and capital markets transactions, coordinating with internal teams, legal counsel, and clients.
• Prepare marketing materials, including CIMs, pitch books, management presentations, and board materials.
• Conduct in-depth research and strategic analysis on domestic and international energy markets; monitor price trends and regulatory changes.
• Manage data rooms and coordinate the due diligence process for active transactions.
• Communicate with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, accountants, and other advisors; participate in client meetings and calls.
