BTIG seeks a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join its Energy & Infrastructure team based in Texas (Dallas or Houston). The role supports senior bankers across M&A, equity/debt raises, and strategic advisory, with a strong emphasis on energy sector operations and financial rigor.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in IB or related fields, a solid background in corporate finance, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related quantitative field with strong academics.
• 1–2 years in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or related advisory field.
• Preferred exposure to Energy, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and M&A processes.
• Knowledge of oil/gas valuation metrics (EV/EBITDAX, $/flowing barrel, NAV) is a plus.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ; Enverus is advantageous.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 79, Series 63 preferred or able to obtain shortly after joining.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, NAV, accretion/dilution).
• Support day-to-day execution of M&A and capital markets transactions with teams and clients.
• Prepare marketing materials: CIMs, pitch books, management presentations, board decks.
• Conduct research and strategic analysis on domestic and international energy markets.
• Monitor commodity trends, regulatory changes, macro drivers, competitive landscapes across sub-sectors.
• Manage data rooms and due diligence for active transactions with cross-functional teams.
• Present insights to senior bankers, clients, lawyers, accountants, and advisers.
