Job summary

MS Directional, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the development team delivering specialized energy-industry products. You will create and release 3D CAD models, drawings, and PDMS records while collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers to improve product design and manufacturability.

You will engage in prototyping, testing, validation, and documentation, ensuring compliance with design standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in engineering field and 2+ years mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling using SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Familiar with PDMS, drawings, and BOMs.
• Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and release 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Prepare bills of materials and PDMS records.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Apply design for manufacturability principles.
• Participate in design reviews and revisions.
• Support production transition from design to manufacturing.
• Provide technical support internally.
