Job summary

Revolution Power Solutions seeks a Mechanical Designer to design and develop power generation and oilfield equipment. You will create 3D parametric models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks, review engineering documentation, and manage changes through the design lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, accurate, and optimized for performance, with responsibilities including BOM creation in Oracle ERP and timely design estimates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer using SolidWorks.
• Experience with oilfield equipment, power generation equipment, or mechanical systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of DFA/DFM and mechanical drawing tolerances.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to clarify design questions and implement improvements.
• Provide manufacturing support for fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks from customer requirements.
• Update and maintain released drawings with revision control.
• Review engineering drawings and documentation for accuracy.
• Create top-level and assembly BOMs in Oracle ERP.
• Support engineering change processes and communicate timelines.
• Perform time estimates for design completion.
