Job summary

Santander is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst focused on Energy in the United States. You will support deal execution, financial modeling, and client relations while entering a comprehensive Global Graduate Training Program.

The role builds core skills in financial analysis, pitch books, and capital markets transactions, including M&A, LBOs, and equity/debt financing, with mentorship from senior bankers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required

Responsibilities

• Support deal execution and client relationship management.
• Participate in Global Graduate Training Program and build foundational financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills.
• Conduct company and industry research, prepare pitch books, and support deal origination efforts.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction analysis (M&A, LBOs, capital raising).
• Assist in the execution of live transactions, including due diligence, documentation, and client communications.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and product partners on strategic advisory mandates and capital markets transactions.
