Job summary

Santander Group is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst in the Energy sector in the United States. You will support deal execution, financial analysis, and client relations, while participating in the Global Graduate Training Program to develop core modeling and presentation skills.

You will build detailed financial models for M&A, LBOs, and capital raises, assist in due diligence, and collaborate with senior bankers on strategic advisory mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required or demonstrated through work experience.
• 1+ year of finance, business, or related field experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with financial modeling ability.

Responsibilities

• Support deal execution, financial analysis, and client relationship management.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for M&A, LBOs, and capital raises.
• Prepare pitch books and conduct company/industry research.
• Assist in due diligence, documentation, and client communications.
