Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an Energy Engineer Intern to support energy opportunities and conservation measures across North America. You’ll work with Account Managers and engineers to analyze projects and contribute to building energy solutions.

The internship provides hands-on experience in energy engineering, reporting, and project coordination, with potential pathways into its Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (Energy, Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Eligible candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• As Energy Engineer Intern, assist in diagnosing energy opportunities with customer facilities.
• Provide technical analysis and review for energy projects and risk assessment.
• Shadow building walkthroughs to identify energy conservation measures in various facilities.
• Collaborate on reporting capabilities and explore new technologies.
