Job summary

Trane Technologies’ Energy Engineer Internship program in the United States offers hands-on experience across North America in energy analysis and building efficiency projects. You’ll collaborate with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to identify opportunities and deliver small energy projects.

The 12-week program develops technical, business, leadership, and communication skills, with potential to join our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering for the duration of the internship.
• Discipline preferences: Energy, Mechanical or Electrical.
• U.S. citizenship or right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some roles may be remote, hybrid, or on-site at North American facilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to diagnose opportunities and deliver small energy projects.
• Provide technical analysis and project risk assessment for energy projects.
• Shadow building walk-throughs and identify energy conservation measures in facilities.
• Collaborate on reporting capabilities and investigate new technologies.
