Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated engineering students to join a 12-week Summer internship focused on Energy Engineering across North America. You will work with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to identify energy opportunities, perform technical analyses, and help develop energy conservation measures for customer facilities.

Throughout the internship you will gain hands-on exposure to energy projects, reporting, and project management, with the potential to join the Graduate Training

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering during the internship.
• Preferred disciplines: Energy, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Sophomore-year completion required before start.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing energy opportunities with customer facilities.
• Provide technical analyses and project risk assessments.
• Shadow building walkthroughs to identify energy conservation measures.
• Collaborate on developing reporting capabilities and new tech usability.
• Support measurement and verification of system performance.
• Analyze data trends and prepare benchmark reports.
• Assist with energy audits, site surveys, and client interviews.
