Job summary

Cadmus seeks an Energy Engineer to join its Energy Services Division. The role requires leading energy projects, data analysis, and effective client communication to support decarbonization and energy efficiency efforts. You will mentor staff, manage project tasks, and present findings to diverse audiences.

The position emphasizes technical rigor, collaborative work, and delivering on-time, on-budget outcomes across HVAC, electrical, and related systems for various clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of demonstrated energy sector experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing deadlines in a fast-paced env.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to mentor colleagues.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel domestically; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead site visits and collect data to support energy projects.
• Analyze data and develop models to identify savings opportunities.
• Quantify impacts using engineering and statistical methods; perform ROI analyses.
• Support energy projects across HVAC, electrical, and related systems.
• Prepare reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Engage clients to scope needs and build partnerships for energy solutions.
• Manage time and budgets; mentor junior staff on project tasks.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver results.
• Contribute to business development through quality deliverables.
