Job summary

Cadmus seeks an Energy Engineer to join its Energy Services Division. The candidate will direct and execute energy projects, lead site inspections, support audits, deploy monitoring equipment, and analyze data to share findings with clients.

The role emphasizes strong communication, mentoring junior staff, budget oversight, and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
• Between five to seven years of professional energy sector experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness for regular travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead site visits to support energy projects; collect data and document building conditions.
• Analyze data using Excel, Python, or R; identify trends and summarize impacts.
• Quantify impacts of energy interventions; perform economic analyses (ROI).
• Support projects for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, solar PV, BESS, EV, and more.
• Prepare and present findings to clients and stakeholders; communicate clearly.
