Job summary
Scope-Services is seeking an Energy Engineer III to provide technical analysis, advice, and support for electric and natural gas energy efficiency projects in onsite Connecticut operations. The role requires 3-7 years of ENERGY experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
The engineer will help develop and implement energy efficiency programs, review engineering parameters, and ensure adherence to codes and incentive rules, with occasional travel across MA/CT/NH.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED accredited professional preferred.
- Proficient with Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, energy codes, and energy efficiency incentives.
Responsibilities
- Participates in program development and implementation for electric and natural gas energy efficiency projects.
- Performs energy analyses to determine energy savings.
- Provides guidance to ensure measurable and verifiable energy savings.
- Supports inspections of equipment and operations for energy savings calculations.
- Collaborates with third parties and customers on program delivery.
- Evaluates new technologies and R&D activities for efficiency improvements.
- Supports regional energy efficiency conferences and stakeholder events.
