Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks an Energy Engineer II to perform energy analyses, whole-building modeling, and commissioning support as part of our Energy & Sustainability team.
You will contribute to project execution, client deliverables, and growing technical leadership while collaborating across disciplines. A solid foundation in building systems and energy analysis is required with opportunities to advance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years in energy efficiency or related consulting.
- Experience with energy modeling tools (eQuest, EnergyPlus, TRACE, EnergyPro).
- Experience evaluating HVAC, lighting, and building systems for energy-saving opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to coordinate projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits and energy modeling across commercial assets.
- Perform field inspections and facility assessments.
- Analyze building systems for energy-saving opportunities.
- Prepare technical reports and client-ready deliverables.
- Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and budgets.
- Maintain client communication and project records.
