Job summary

Cadmus seeks an Energy Engineer to join its Energy Services Division. The role focuses on directing and executing energy projects for Cadmus' clients, including site inspections, audits, decarbonization assessments, and data-driven analyses.

You will lead data collection, perform analyses with statistical methods, and develop client deliverables. Collaboration across internal and external teams, plus travel to client sites, are common.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
  • 5–7 years of demonstrated professional experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site visits for energy projects and document building conditions.
  • Analyze data using MS Excel, Python, or R to identify trends.
  • Quantify impacts of energy interventions and evaluate ROI.
  • Support projects across HVAC, electrical, and other systems.
  • Prepare written and oral findings for clients and stakeholders.
  • Engage clients to scope needs and build partnerships.
  • Manage self and assist in task planning within budgets and timelines.
  • Lead small teams of consultants and ensure quality deliverables.
