Job summary

Cadmus seeks an Energy Engineer to join its Energy Services Division in the United States. You will direct and execute energy projects for clients, lead site investigations, audits, and decarbonization assessments, and deploy monitoring equipment.

This role emphasizes analysis, data‑driven decision making, and clear communication with clients and internal teams. You will manage budgets, develop deliverables, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver on‑time, on‑budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of demonstrated professional experience in the energy sector.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to convey complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Lead site visits and data collection for energy projects, documenting conditions with equipment and forms.
• Analyze data using MS Excel, Python, or R; identify trends and summarize impacts.
• Quantify energy interventions with economic analyses like ROI; evaluate feasibility.
• Support diverse technologies including HVAC, electrical, PV, BESS, EV, and more.
• Prepare findings in reports and presentations; communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Engage clients to scope needs, build partnerships, and implement energy solutions.
• Manage self and teams, balance priorities, and deliver on time and budget.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to drive project success.
