Job summary

Coulter Services is seeking a Metal Development Specialist to design, test, and optimize metal roofing systems, advancing a premium product line focused on performance, durability, and energy efficiency.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and installation teams to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions, oversee prototypes and field trials, ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across development and readiness

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of metal roofing systems and building science principles.
Ability to evaluate test/field trial outcomes and drive optimization.
Effective cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
Detail-oriented approach to compliance, quality, and reliable product performance.
Problem-solving skills to improve durability and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine metal roofing system designs to meet performance and quality goals
Plan and oversee prototypes and field trials; evaluate results and implement improvements
Collaborate with engineering, production, and installation teams to ensure successful translation from concept to execution
Ensure products comply with applicable building codes and relevant quality standards
Support continuous improvement across product development and manufacturing readiness
