Job summary

EXCEPTIONAL Metals, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope, is seeking a Metal Edge Estimator to support and grow within our organization. This 1st shift role is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Saginaw, MI, with responsibilities including detailed takeoffs, pricing, and coordinating with internal teams.

You will review drawings, estimate for coping, fascia, gutters, and downspouts, and ensure quotes align with manufacturing capabilities and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, details, and specifications.
• Experience estimating architectural sheet metal, edge metal, or similar custom-fabricated products preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with custom dimensions and project-specific requirements.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work, including back-to-back calls and multiple active projects.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate pricing for linear edge and drainage products including coping, fascia, gutters, and downspouts.
• Complete detailed takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
• Develop accurate quotes and enter orders into internal systems.
• Review plans to identify scope, materials, and fabrication requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align estimates with capabilities and timelines.
• Maintain project information and tracking through internal systems.
• Provide responsive customer support and follow-up to contractors and partners.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
• Adhere to safety policies and promote a culture of safety.
