Job summary

The RISE Group seeks a Program Manager to oversee energy efficiency programs, coordinate with Program Administrators, and drive performance, KPI achievement, and compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, report on budgets and forecasts, and communicate priorities to stakeholders. This full-time role requires 40 hours weekly with travel across MA, RI, and additional territories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations management, account management, or energy efficiency program delivery.
  • Experience with utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs or related customer-facing service programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs, track performance metrics, analyze trends, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, utility representatives, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel periodically throughout MA, RI, and other program territories.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between RISE and Program Administrators, maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Lead day-to-day program administration activities and ensure successful execution of energy efficiency programs.
  • Monitor and manage program KPIs, production metrics, participation levels, energy savings, budgets, and other contractual performance requirements.
  • Coordinate activities across operations, sales, project management, QA/QC, customer service, contractor management, and finance teams.
  • Develop and maintain program reporting, dashboards, forecasts, presentations, and status updates for Program Administrators and RISE leadership.
  • Facilitate regular operational, tactical, and strategic meetings with Program Administrators and internal stakeholders.
  • Track program pipelines, participation trends, forecasted production, incentive activity, and budget performance.
  • Identify operational risks, performance gaps, compliance concerns, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Respond to escalated issues from Program Administrators, customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders and drive timely resolution.
