Job summary

The RISE Group Inc is seeking an Associate Energy Engineer to identify and verify energy efficiency opportunities across the Northeast region. You will work under a senior engineer and coordinate data collection from site visits, manufacturer information, and plans to scope and quantify impacts of recommendations.

The role involves developing energy savings analyses, cost estimates, and formal reports, with travel across MA, NH, and RI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with an interest in energy efficiency.
• 1 year of experience writing technical reports.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inspect cost-effective opportunities to improve the efficiency of energy systems in commercial, industrial, or multifamily buildings.
• Develop energy savings analyses, cost estimates, and written reports for recommended improvements using standard methods.
• Arrange financing and incentives to facilitate improvements with utility-sponsored programs in the United States.
