Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Program Analyst to join our growing team in Madison, WI. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated analyst with strong critical thinking, communication, and data management skills to support the delivery of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for program operations such as rebate processing, customer support, analytical reporting, and database management. You will ensure the smooth execution of energy efficiency programs that impact communities and the environment positively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality project materials for review, approval, and payment.
  • Maintain and optimize relational databases for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Track and report on metrics such as budget performance, energy savings, and KPIs.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders.
  • Ensure program deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Support the Program Manager in client relationships and communication.
  • Maintain internal policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Assist with monthly invoicing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide customer support via phone and email.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (GPA of 3.5+ preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as VBA or Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Interest in sustainability and environmental impact.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Experience with database or relational database systems (SQL, Access, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, environmental science, or sustainability practices.
  • Experience with utility programs or energy initiatives is a plus.
