Job summary

The JPI Group is seeking a Senior Outreach Professional to lead strategic outreach, community engagement, and employer partnerships for Michigan's energy efficiency workforce program. You will develop regional outreach plans, build referral networks, and run recruitment campaigns to support enrollment goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in workforce development, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel statewide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in workforce development, business administration, communications, public administration, education, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years experience in workforce development, outreach, and partnership development.
• Proven ability to develop outreach strategies that achieve measurable recruitment outcomes.
• Experience building relationships with workforce agencies, educational institutions, and employers.
• Strong understanding of workforce development systems and support services.
• Experience coordinating outreach campaigns and events.
• Ability to analyze outreach data and adjust strategies based on results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong organization skills.
• Michigan residency and ability to travel throughout Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies aligned with program enrollment goals.
• Identify priority populations and recruitment channels across Michigan.
• Conduct information sessions and community presentations to generate interest.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospective participants for training cohorts.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure intake and enrollment handoffs.
• Track outreach performance and adjust activities based on data.
