Job summary

The Field Technician at CMC Energy Services in the Poconos conducts energy audits, installs program measures, and supports service and inspections to improve customers' energy efficiency. You will educate customers on savings opportunities and ensure work meets safety standards and contract specifications.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (associate’s degree a plus) and 1–3 years in construction or related industries, with strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree a plus.
1–3 years construction or industry experience preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed audits and assessments to identify energy-saving opportunities.
Install program measures and perform minor repairs per specifications.
Educate customers on energy efficiency practices and savings.
Manage inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
Maintain safety and OSHA-compliant work practices on-site.
