Job summary

CMC Energy Services, Inc. in Wallingford, CT seeks an Energy Efficiency Field Insulation Technician II to perform installations, service, inspections, and energy audits to establish baselines and recommend energy-saving measures for customers.

You will educate customers, install energy-saving measures, perform diagnostics, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards on diverse job sites while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree a plus.
• 1-3 years' construction or industry experience preferred; energy industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits, assessments, and work orders as scheduled per contracts and specs.
• Identify conservation measures and recommend energy-efficient technologies.
• Provide customers with energy-saving education sessions and recommendations.
• Install program measures and perform minor repairs per program specs.
• Manage inventory and company equipment; maintain safety and clean work areas.
