Job summary

CMC Energy Services is seeking a Field Technician to support a range of energy efficiency activities, including audits, installations, service, and inspections. This role involves advising customers on energy-saving practices and recommending appropriate solutions.

You will conduct detailed audits, identify conservation measures, perform diagnostic testing and minor installations, and maintain safe work areas. Strong communication and a reliable vehicle are required for site visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree a plus.
• 1-3 years' construction or industry experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license; travel to client locations may be necessary.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits and assessments to evaluate energy consumption and identify potential conservation measures.
• Provide education sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures to customers.
• Perform diagnostic testing, install program measures and conduct minor repairs as per specifications.
• Manage inventory materials and company equipment; maintain a safe, organized work site.
• Communicate customer service issues promptly to supervisor and ensure OSHA safety procedures are followed.
