Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our Southern California team. You will help customers reduce energy consumption and save money by identifying energy savings measures, quantifying project economics, and supporting implementation.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, or Electrical engineering, have energy modeling/M&V experience, and possess strong communication. Some travel up to 20% to visit customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical or related engineering field.
• Experience in energy modeling and M&V.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy analyses and modeling for medium to large facilities (lighting, HVAC, etc.).
• Quantify energy savings, costs, incentives, and simple payback.
• Conduct M&V site visits and verify installation of energy improvements.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing results and project economics.
• Coordinate with program staff, contractors, and customers to maximize program benefits.
