Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) is seeking an Engineering-Internship/Co-op student to assist in land development and energy design projects in the Northeast. The role emphasizes data collection, mapping, and coordination with project managers to support design tasks.

Ideal candidates are currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering disciplines, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an Associates or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong attention to detail with sound analytical capabilities.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team.
• Ability to perform basic AutoCAD Tasks.
• Preferred: GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Department with ongoing Land Development and/or Energy Design projects.
• Work with Project Managers and other staff to collect data, gather information, and permits.
• Perform basic redlining and survey field/mapping tasks using AutoCAD Map 3D.
