Job summary

EnergyHub is hiring an Energy Data Scientist to join the Analytics Engineering team. You will develop M&V methodologies and data science models to evaluate grid services from fleets of distributed energy resources.

You will write production-grade code, prototype data products, and apply machine learning to energy IoT data, translating insights for utilities and stakeholders. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and the scientific stack (pandas, numpy, scipy).
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (ETL/ELT).
• Familiarity with Scikit-learn and TensorFlow; practical ML understanding.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of M&V methodologies and data science models for evaluation of grid services.
• Write production-level code, prototype new data products, apply ML algorithms to energy IoT data.
• Translate large distributed energy datasets into actionable insights for utilities and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Product teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
