Job summary

EnergyHub seeks a data science professional to lead the development of M&V methodologies and models for evaluating advanced grid services from fleets of distributed energy resources. You will write production‑level code, prototype new data products, and apply machine learning to energy IoT data, translating results into actionable insights for utilities and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Client Success, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Market Development teams to bring

Qualifications

Experience with Python and the scientific stack (pandas, numpy, scipy).
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling practices (ETL/ELT).
Practical understanding of basic machine learning algorithms; familiar with Sklearn and TensorFlow.
Ability to explain results from large-scale data analyses to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Develop M&V methodologies and data science models for evaluation of grid services from fleets of distributed energy resources.
Write production-level code, prototype new data products, and apply ML to energy IoT data.
Translate data into actionable insights for electric utilities and energy stakeholders.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Client Success, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Market Development teams.
