Job summary

EnergyHub is seeking an Energy Data Scientist to join the Analytics Engineering team. You will drive M&V methodologies, build data science models, and write production-level code to convert energy IoT data into actionable insights for electric utilities and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Product teams to improve models used in evaluation of control algorithms and to enhance forecasting capabilities nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Python and the scientific stack (pandas, numpy, scipy).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling practices (ETL/ELT).
  • Knowledge of ML basics and common packages (Sklearn, TensorFlow).

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of M&V methodologies and data science models.
  • Write production-level code and prototype new data products.
  • Translate energy IoT data into actionable insights for utilities and stakeholders.
