Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical professional to apply advanced analytics for data-driven insights across DSM topics, including demand response, distributed energy resources, and energy efficiency. You will work with clients and internal teams to design studies, perform analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, project management, and the ability to communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field with 6-8 years experience, OR BA/BS in relevant field with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Experience with data transformation and statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata.
  • Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations with R-Shiny (or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit).
  • Experience with databases and SQL.
  • Inferential statistics, sampling, research design, regression analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with or work experience in the energy sector and/or utility industry.
  • Applied research design experience in professional setting (e.g., consulting).

Responsibilities

  • Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting tasks for client engagements.
  • Apply statistical and econometric methods to assess program and policy impacts and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate methods and results clearly in reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations for diverse audiences.
  • Manage consulting projects, including collaboration with team members and clients to achieve goals.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships through proactive communication on status, findings, and concerns.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand work with existing clients and proposals.
