Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical Data Analyst to apply advanced analytics, quantify intervention impacts, and provide strategic guidance to utility and government clients.

They will support DSM topics including demand response, virtual power plants, distributed energy resources, renewable energy integration, data center electricity demand, decarbonization, energy efficiency, flexible load management, sustainability, retail rate design, and equity considerations.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field with 3–5 years of experience, or BA/BS with 5–7 years.
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations with R-Shiny or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply statistical/econometric methods, interpret results, and identify meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
• Communicate methods and findings in technical reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Support project management, budgeting, invoicing, planning, and resource management; ensure quality and timeliness.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Develop client relationships through proactive communication and potential business opportunities.
