Job summary

WOC Energy is seeking a motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Towanda, PA area. You’ll be at the center of customer communication, supporting retention and accurate billing and scheduling, coordinating with the General Manager and service teams to keep homes warm and businesses powered.

In this role, you’ll handle a range of calls, resolve concerns, and help drive smooth operations across our service areas, while maintaining high standards of courtesy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional customer service experience.
• Comfort handling phone-based conversations about service, billing, and scheduling.
• Ability to track details accurately across multiple systems and documents.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with clear, respectful, solution-focused communication.
• Support growth and retention by resolving concerns, following up, and closing issues.
• Participate in outbound campaigns to retain customers and collect on past-due balances.
• Assist with daily delivery and service operations by resolving routing exceptions.
• Provide administrative support including documentation, reporting, and billing accuracy.
• Depending on location, assist with accounts payable processing and other office operations.
